Alexandra Grishanova is the firm’s Director of Legal Research. She researches and analyzes complex and novel legal issues in all of the firm’s practice areas, with particular emphasis on securities, administrative and privacy law. Alexandra writes legal opinions, as well as arguments and submissions for a wide variety of administrative tribunals and all court levels.
In addition to delivering training and overseeing research by the firm’s associates and students, Alexandra coaches the Osgoode mooting team in the Davies’ Annual Corporate/Securities Law Moot.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Alexandra served as a judicial law clerk to the judges of the Divisional and Superior Courts in Toronto, including Commercial List judges. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked in the areas of information management, access to information and privacy with the Ontario Public Service.
Alexandra is a member of the Advocates’ Society and the Toronto Research Lawyers group.
